Cardiorespiratory endurance refers to the ability of the body to perform prolonged, large-muscle, dynamic exercise at moderate-to-high levels of intensity while engaged in exercise. Cardiorespiratory endurance is an important part of overall physical fitness and performing regular aerobic exercise will help you improve your cardiorespiratory endurance level both aerobically (utilizing oxygen) and anaerobically (without oxygen or oxygen debt).
