Essentials for gym bag…TOP TEN

Now that you have had time to shop around for a new gym bag or rediscover your current gym bag. Let’s take a look at the TOP TEN Essential items to bring to pack with you for your trip to the gym:
 

  1. WATER (or another drink low in sugar that will keep you hydrated)
  2. TOWEL
  3. SNACKS (nothing fancy a Cliff bar, baggie of almonds, etc.)
  4. HAIR TIES/BANDANA/CAP (Anything to keep the mane at bay)
  5. ZIPLOCK BAG (For any wet or sweaty clothes)
  6. DEORDORANT (And any other toiletries if you plan on showering)
  7. FLIP FLOPS (For walking around the locker room)
  8. IPOD (Music helps motivate your workout)
  9. LOCK (Some gyms do not have self locking lockers)
  10. CLASS EQUIPMENT (Yoga mat, weight glove, water goggles, cycle shoes, etc.)

If you are an instructor, add these items to your list: (And you may need a bigger bag..ha!)

  1. MIC BELT
  2. WINDSCREENS
  3. MUSIC CD’S OR IPOD
  4. IPOD ADAPTER FOR STEREO
  5. BATTERIES (Check the microphones you use for size)
  6. MICROPHONE (If you bring your own)
  7. BUSINESS CARDS

Remember for the greatest success you should always pack your gym bag the night before. Successful people PLAN their day and having that bag ready to go adds less stress and leaves less of a chance to forget to pack it in the morning rush.  If you want yours to stand out and be easily recognizable, consider affixing custom embroidered patches to them.
