Nutrition Assessment

A nutrition assessment is an in-depth evaluation of an individual's food and nutrient intake, lifestyle, and medical history. By analyzing the collected data, the practitioner can assess and evaluate the individual’s nutritional status. The nutrition assessment leads to a plan of care, or intervention, designed to help the individual attain a healthier status or provide feedback for maintaining the assessed status.
